It is with great love and care that I practice Craniosacral Therapy. For in these areas we find less intellectual understanding of the treatment and we release into the mysterious, deepest healing process. I am a practitioner who believes that the greater the pain you had to endure, the wiser and more alive you can become. Your struggle is growth and opportunity.
I initially trained in osteopathy in Buenos Aires (Argentina) at the Centro de Estudios Osteopáticos de Buenos Aires; and upon graduation I moved to Canada to study biodynamic craniosacral therapy in BC, through Body Intelligence. Altogether, I have been practicing cranial work for over 10 years, and have recently begun offering CST workshops in the Cowichan Valley.
It’s important to mention that this kind of therapy does not look to fix or impose changes on your body. Cranial work sees and treats the person in a holistic light: honouring the body, mind, heart and spirit. A skilled craniosacral practitioner can perceive the imprints of trauma and can support the client in navigating the physical and emotional discomfort that challenging past events bring into their lives.
Whether it’s physical forces or emotional stress that have been “stuck” in the body, overtime these unresolved events can develop symptoms of pain, tension, inflammation. In this work, the therapist facilitates a safe space where the client can potentially release this “tissue memory”. This tissue memory is the force that holds the patterns of tension in place.
The approach is extremely gentle and the contact is precise. The releases can create a deep sense of peace and relaxation, and at times, be quite cathartic. Whichever way they are experienced, they bring forth relief.
Due to its non-invasive nature, CST can also be of great support for babies and children, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and elders.
Common reasons for treatment that present in my practice are related to cranial and dental trauma and dysfunctions (concussions, head and brain injuries, dental interventions, oral surgeries, migraines, TMJ issues, teeth grinding and more), as well as accidents, musculoskeletal tension and pain, digestive/urinary dysfunctions, sleep disorders, stress, anxiety and depression.
It is typically recommended to receive 3 initial treatments, which can be spaced out a couple/a few weeks apart, depending on the client’s needs. This will allow us to delve much deeper into any patterns of restriction. (Acute cases may present differently, and may require more ongoing attention.)
As one of the fathers of osteopathy said: “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to watch you heal yourself.”

Bobby graduated from the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 2003. After taking some post graduate courses, he soon turned his focused To Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy ® (SDTT).
Under the tutelage of his mentor and creator of SDTT, Armand Ayaltin, Bobby continues to learn about the intricacies of the human body and assists in teaching post-graduate workshops for other therapists.
In his first years as a therapist, Bobby had the opportunity to work abroad in Switzerland. In his two years there, he gained invaluable experience treating professional athletes from a variety of different sports, including hockey players, soccer players, skiers/snow boarders, downhill bike racing (VTT), tennis players, runners and triathletes, and professional dancers. Though the clinic was geared towards athletes, he also treated a variety of people, from kids to the elderly, assisting them with chronic and acute conditions, all while providing general maintenance and injury prevention.
Having seen athletes from such a broad variety of sports allowed him to see many different injuries both chronic and acute.
Using the philosophy and techniques learned in Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy ® allowed him to achieve excellent results quickly. Having seen the results experienced from his limited knowledge (at the time) in Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy ®, he knew he needed to come back and continue studying under his mentor.
Bobby is new to the Cowichan Valley area and is accepting new clients. He looks forward to helping you find and maintain your health.

I am in this work because I believe in the power of the human spirit. We are all at different points on our healing journeys, myself included. I’ve been practicing BG5 since 2018 and in December 2022, completed a four-year certification program covering all BG5 modalities at the accredited BG5 Business Institute. I provided admin support to the institute and currently work with their lead instructor in a joint venture, BG5 Solutions – providing solutions to individuals, leaders and businesses. We work with HR, leaders and individuals to show an organization how individuals can be seen for who they are within a company so they can contribute their full potential instead of being put into a contrived role that holds them back.
I’ve had a foot in each world - business and health/healing/wellness and was often torn between them – my heart wanting to move into the healing world and my ego (fears) keeping me in the world of business. I have lived the experience that a lot of others have faced, hiding their true self for fear of rejection. It’s been an incredible journey and I am grateful for everything I experienced that taught me how difficult it’s been for people to truly ‘be’ themselves.
I’ve accepted that everything I’ve done in my life has been valuable and necessary for where I am right now. I’m so happy to be working with others to help you heal, discover your own innate uniqueness, and help you give yourself permission to be fully you.

Dr. Holly Hochstadt is a vitalistic chiropractor. She recognizes that the human body has an innate ability to heal itself, and that chiropractic care helps remove interference to our inborn healing capacity, allowing for a fuller expression of health and vitality. She believes that health includes our physical, emotional, social, mental (and even spiritual) well being. Her philosophy of care is to address the root cause of your health concerns, rather than just treating symptoms.
Dr. Holly cares for people of all ages and stages of life, from newborn to end-of-life. She works with laborers, desk workers, homemakers, athletes, performers, and people recovering from any health challenge, illness, injury, or loss. She also provides chiropractic care to women throughout the perinatal period. She is trained in the Webster Technique to support pregnant women in optimizing pelvic mobility before and during pregnancy.
After graduating from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 1995, she practiced in the heart of Seattle for 24 years, and then continued in an agricultural community in Southern Alberta for 4 years. She joyfully returned to the West Coast in 2023, and is enjoying exploring our region with her partner and her hiking groups. She loves gardening, cooking, reading, kirtan, and building community.
Dr. Holly offers a wide range of chiropractic adjusting approaches, including traditional manual chiropractic, drop table, instruments, and tonal BGI chiropractic. She has practiced Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI) since 2000. This tonal style of chiropractic assesses how the body is storing tension from past overloads, where the body is ready to process tension, and then uses gentle fingertip pressure to facilitate the body in accessing, unwinding, and integrating it. Her goal is always to find the best method for each client, to assist their healing and expressing more of their full potential in life and in the world.
She recognizes that while healing happens largely from the inside-out, it is also affected by outside-in factors. She is a firm believer in empowering her clients through education and in taking an active role in their own health. She provides educational resources and support to help her clients on this path, including recommendations for nutrition, supplements, specific exercises for the physical body, or methods to support the parasympathetic nervous system in grounding and healing. Dr. Holly is committed to providing personalized and compassionate care to every client. She works to create a treatment plan that fits each person’s specific needs and goals.
Dr. Holly values integrity, compassion, connection, and caring for each client like a beloved family member. She is grateful to support the Cowichan Valley community on the path of expressing health and human potential.

After moving to Canada in 2002, I became a Registered Cardiology Technologist and then pursued advanced training as an Adult Echocardiographer. As a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, I enjoyed a wonderful career in Cardiology and Heart Health and never lost the amazement and appreciation for the human body and its complex systems.
After years of working in an acute care setting, I began to question the conventional medical model that addresses a single part of the body and does not recognize the body as a whole. This led me to studying functional medicine as a Registered Orthomolecular Healthcare Practitioner and Nutritional Consultant. It became clear to me that many diseases could be prevented by dietary and lifestyle changes.
As I began to grow in my understanding of holistic health, I grew increasingly interested in Homeopathy. I discovered that hundreds of millions of people rely upon Homeopathic medicines around the world and was drawn to how this 200-year-old form of alternative medicine was able to stimulate a gentle healing response that allowed the body to come back into balance.
I completed the Practitioner’s Program to be a Certified Clinical Homeopath at the American Medical College of Homeopathy in Arizona (AMCoH) and have seen first-hand how Homeopathy can help people live well and find vitality in health. I hope that my experiences in conventional medicine coupled with my training in functional and integrative health can offer hope and healing to others.

I am an astrologer originally from Japan.
I was brought up in a household where daily life included shinto practices, honouring of ancestors, and ceremony. I have been learning and practising astrology since 2008 though I was first introduced at the age of ten.
It has immensely helped me to understand my life circumstances, where I came from and what I’m moving toward. I see Astrology as a map in this vast ocean of life. Often we feel lost in the immensity of it all, and astrology gives insight to help us find our way. It also gives perspective and understanding of how cycles play out in our lives, and how best to work with them to increase our personal growth and enjoyment of life.
My astrology practice draws mainly from Hellenistic Tradition, and is complemented by a variety of earth medicine practices and ceremonial work. Although my work is often aware of the celestial bodies it is deeply rooted in these earth practices.
I honour love, truth, and integrity and my mission is to be of service in my community, and to guide and empower people through their journeys.

Hi, I’m Graeme
I spent 20 long years living the corporate life and I understand what it feels like to be stuck and unfulfilled. As the sole income earner for my family, the pressure was immense. We needed the money and the benefits were great for our growing family, but I felt empty inside.
It wasn’t until I learned that my frustration with life was a result of feeling joyless and aimless, that with coaching, I could create a new clear focus.
I now dedicate my time to helping other people who feel stuck find purpose and fulfillment. That doesn’t always mean radical change like leaving your job; it means discovering that there’s more to life than work, and learning how to balance your well-being so you can focus on your goals and living your life purpose.

I am very excited to share the deeply relaxing, nurturing and complexion boosting practices of facial massage and facial fitness with whoever feels drawn to work with me. I offer these modalities because I use them, love them and believe they have much to offer to modern women and men. Most people understand the positive impact of exercise and massage on the body but don’t apply these same ideas to the face. However, the face holds tension, facial muscles atrophy and so benefit from bodywork and exercise just the same. During massage and exercise the tissues of the face are nourished due to increased circulation and oxygenation which leads to improved appearance and function.
After receiving and loving my first facial massage in 2019 I decided to train in the discipline. That led to the discovery and training in facial fitness so that I could offer a concrete way for one to become aware of their facial muscles. Our face actually informs us about how to feel so it is important to first be aware of the muscular tension held in the face and then once it is appropriate to do so- dispel it. Sometimes we need a bit of assistance to do that. When we tune into how our face feels, where it is holding tension, we are tuning into how we feel. An increased awareness of facial tension is a gentle way to begin to work with our emotions through the face. Think about what our face does all day, it expresses how we feel all day, no wonder we can affect the way we feel by expressing affection back to our face.
I am here for the spectrum of reasons one might want to work with me. Maybe you are feeling extra stressed out, maybe you have a big presentation or event or maybe your sinuses are clogged. Maybe you are a mom and, like me, you feel like parts of yourself got lost along the way. Maybe you see past trauma written all over your face and want to write a new story.
Originally from Fresno, California I have done many things from journalism to urban tree planting to solo work along the river. I draw from each of my experiences to inform me along this new path.
My hope is that after a session together you feel nurtured, relaxed and ready to face the world.
I am very excited to share the deeply relaxing, nurturing and complexion boosting practices of fa...

I’m an Acupuncturist raised and educated on Vancouver Island. My interest in health and desire to enjoy a meaningful life inspired my career choice. I was first introduced to eastern healing arts as a child, by my mother’s practice of Jin Shin Do (Japanese Acupressure). In adolescence, I developed an interest in martial arts which is with me to this day. I enrolled in Oshio College’s Acupuncture Program in 2014 and later became an instructor at the school.
I routinely treat a broad range of conditions, and enjoy the process of treating simple and difficult conditions alike. It’s my goal to help relieve and prevent suffering, and to help people find a sense of freedom and empowerment, both in their health and in all aspects of their life. Through study and practice, I continue to hone my skills and gather new tools to provide pleasant treatments with great results.
I’m committed to professional integrity, and always intent on giving the most beneficial treatment possible. I consider acupuncture as a tool to help coordinate the body in healing itself. We have all witnessed our own amazing self-healing abilities. The goal of my treatment is to simply tip the scales in your favour.
In the treatment room, I integrate laser (photobiomodulation therapy) massage and acupressure, cupping, moxibustion, and basically whatever we figure will be most helpful and appropriate for you. I am honoured to ally with the other practitioners of TAOH to support the health of this community.
Outside of the clinic, I am blessed to live with my wife, Mika, and our young daughter. I have a background in visual arts , and maintain a slow but steady visual art and martial arts practice.

Let’s Shift together through Hypnotherapy and Intuitive Medium Readings!
I have worked as a Disability Employment Advisor for over 12 years and noticed the same thing over and over again. People who came into my office were suffering from past trauma. Whether that be from their family life, work life or other areas of life. They were stuck and I wanted to do more. This is why I became a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist.
I have also been blessed with a gift of being an intuitive medium and have been doing readings professionally and for friends for the last 20 years. As a medium having family members come through has allowed many to find closure. Seeing people transform from the readings, I have now added Hypnotherapy to my practice. My life purpose and drive is to help people live their best lives and let go of that which does not serve them. I personally have transformed through hypnotherapy and I have helped others do the same.
I am excited to help you uncover blocks, barriers or triggers that are no longer serving you. As a medium I connect with your guides, angels, and family who have crossed over. As a hypnotherapist we are able to dive deeper working with your subconscious allowing you let go and rewrite your story.
The many benefits of hypnotherapy include:
Pain Management
